كالجَعْظِ: وهو العظيمُ في نَفْسِه، والسَّيِّئُ الخُلُقِ الذي يَتَسَخَّطُ عند الطعامِ. وكمَنعه: دَفَعَه،
كأَجْعَظَه.
والجِعْظانةُ والجِعْظانُ، بكسرهما: القَصيرُ.
وأجْعَظَ: هَرَبَ.
