من (ق ب ن) نسبة إلى قَبَّان بمعنى الوازن بالقبان وهي ميزان ذو ذراع طويلة مقسمة أقساما ينقل عليها جسم ثقيل يسمى الرمانة لتُعَيِّن ووزن ما يوزن.
