قولنج



قُوْلَنْجٌ, (Msb, * K,) with fet-h to the ل, (Msb,) and sometimes قَوْلِنْجٌ, with kesr to the ل, or thus and قُولِنْجٌ, i. e. with kesr to the ل and with fet-h and damm to the ق, (K,) a foreign word, (TA,) [from the Greek kwlikos The colic;] a certain painful intestinal disease, in which the egress of the feces and wind is attended with difficulty; (K;) a violent griping in the intestine called the colon. (Msb.)
