قهنب



قَهْنَبَانٌ

: see what follows.

قَهَنَّبٌ Tall, and having a curving back, the upper part bending forward over the breast, or a bent and humped back, or a projecting breast and hollow back; accord. to the different explanations of أَجْنَأُ: or tall; (K;) i. e., in an absolute sense; (TA;) as also ↓ قَهْنَبَانٌ. (K.) But AHei and others assert that the ن is augmentative. (MF.) مُقَهْنِبٌ Always remaining at the water. (K.)
