قهر


قَهَرَ(n. ac. قَهْر)
a. Overcame, conquered, subdued, subjugated; mastered
overpowered; prevailed, predominated over; abased.
b. Maltreated; oppressed; coerced.
c. [acc. & 'Ala], Forced, compelled, constrained to.
d. [pass.], Became soft, dripped its gravy ( meat).
قَاْهَرَa. Treated harshly, misused.

أَقْهَرَa. Was overcome &c.
b. Found overcome.
c. Had his companions vanquished, overcome.

إِنْقَهَرَa. Pass. of I (a).
قَهْرa. Constraint, compulsion; force, violence.
