قندل: القَنْدَلُ: الضَّخْمُ والرأس من الإبل والدواب. قال:

شذب عن عاناته القنابلا ... أثناءها والربع القنادِلا

قوله: قنابلا واحدها: قَنْبَلَةٌ، وهي طائفة من الخيل. والقِنديلُ: [معروف] ، وجمعه: القناديل.
