قنبانية (بالأسبانية Campana) وقنفانية أيضا (تقويم ص56. وفيه قنبانية في ص97) وكنبانية (المقري 1: 97، الخطيب ص1976 ق): ريف، ضاحية، ناحية ظاهرة خارج البلد، وكثيرا ما يتردد ذكر قنبانية قرطبة وقنبانية طنجة أيضا. (البكري ص108).
