قعب
القَعْبُ: القَدَحُ الضخْم. والقَعْبَةُ: شِبْهُ حُقَّةٍ مُطْبَقَةٍ فيها سَويقُ النسَاء. والقُعْبَةُ: النُقْرَةُ في الحَجَر. ومنه: حَافِرٌ مقعب. والمُقَعٌبُ: المُقَعًرُ في كلامِه. والقَعِيْبُ: العَمَدُ والكَثْرَة، قال الأفْوَهُ:
وأبْنَا بالأسارى والقَعِيْبِ
والقَعْقَبَةُ: الجَرْحُ؛ وكأنَه حِكايَةُ صَوْتِ الحَرْش، قال يَصِفُ سِنّوْرَةً: تَعْجَل قَبْلَ مَائها بالقَعْقَبَهْ ماؤها: صَوْتُها.
