قَدَّ(n. ac. قَدّ)
a. Cut, tore into shreds, strips; rent, slit, split;
cleft.
b. Cut short, broke off, interrupted ( speech).
c. Traversed (desert).
d. [pass.], Had the gripes.
قَدَّدَa. see I (a)b. Cut into strips & dried in the sun.
c. ['Ala], Fitted, suited.
أَقْدَدَ
a. ['Ala], Gave the gripes to (food).
