[قتك] الفاتك: الجرئ، والجمع الفتاك. والفَتْكُ: أن يأتي الرجل صاحبه وهو غارٌّ غافلٌ حتَّى يشدَّ عليه فيقتله. وفيه ثلاث لغات: فتك، وفتك، وفتك، مثل ود وود وود، وزعم وزعم وزعم. وقد فتك به يفتُكُ ويفتِكُ. وفي الحديث: " قيَّد الإيمانُ الفَتْكَ، لا يَفْتِكُ مؤمن ".
