قارِزُ:
بكسر الراء ثم زاي: قرية من قرى نيسابور على نصف فرسخ منها ويقال لها كارز، وتذكر في الكاف أيضا، وعرف بهذه النسبة أبو جعفر غسان ابن محمد العابد القارزي النيسابوري، سمع عبد الله ابن مسلم الدمشقي ومحمد بن رافع، روى عنه أبو الحسن بن هانئ العدل.
