فَصِيصُ:
بالفتح ثم الكسر، وياء ساكنة، وصاد أخرى، من قولهم: فصّ الجرح وغيره إذا سال، يفصّ فصيصا، أو من قولهم: لهذا الشيء فصيص أي صوت ضعيف، وفصيص: اسم عين بعينها سميت بذلك لما ذكرنا.
