فِسْفِسَةٌ
i. q. فِصْفِصَةٌ, i. e. رَطْبَةٌ: (
K:) the second of these is more known than the first; both of which are arabicized, from the Persian إِسْپِسْت [or إِسْفِسْت]. (

الفُسَيْفِسَاءُ: ألْوَح من الخَرَزِ تُؤَلفُ ثُم تُرَكبُ في حِيطانِ البُيُوْتِ. والفِسْفِسَةُ: القَت الرَّطْبُ. والفَسْفَاسُ من البُقُوْلِ: أخْضَرُ خَبِيْثُ الريْحِ له زَهْرَةٌ بَيْضَاءُ يَنْبُتُ في مَسَائل الماءِ.
