فيروزج

فِيرُوزَجٌ [an arabicized word from the Pers\.

فِيرُوزَهُ or پِيرُوزَهُ The turquoise;] a well-known kind of stone. (TA.) b2: And A certain sort of dye [probably of the colour of the stone so called]. (TA.)

فيروزج: هو فيما نقله لين عن تاج العروس ضرب من الأصباغ. وقد ذكر باين سميث نفس المعنى، ففيه (7: 10): ضرب من التزاريق يقال له الفيروزج ينقش فيه مثل الهليلج والنرجس والشقائق.
