فندورة: اسم آله موسيقية وترية. وعند باين سميث: فندوا وقد فسرها بقندورة غير أن الصواب فندورة بالفاء. وباليونانية كافورا أو كاندورا، وبالسيريانية: قندورا، وبالإيطالية: pandura أو pandora وبالاسبانية: banduria وبالفرنسية: mandore.
