ف ص م: (فَصَمَ) الشَّيْءَ كَسَرَهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَبِينَ تَقُولُ: فَصَمَهُ مِنْ بَابِ ضَرَبَ (فَانْفَصَمَ) قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: {لَا انْفِصَامَ لَهَا} [البقرة: 256] وَ (تَفَصَّمَ) مِثْلُ انْفَصَمَ.

(فَصَمَ) الْفَاءُ وَالصَّادُ وَالْمِيمُ أَصْلٌ صَحِيحٌ يَدُلُّ عَلَى انْصِدَاعِ شَيْءٍ مِنْ غَيْرِ بَيْنُونَةٍ. مِنْ ذَلِكَ الْفَصْمُ، وَهُوَ أَنْ يَنْصَدِعَ الشَّيْءُ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَبِينَ. وَكُلُّ مُنْحَنٍ مِنْ خَشَبَةٍ وَغَيْرِهَا فَهُوَ مَفْصُومٌ. قَالَ:

كَأَنَّهُ دُمْلُجٌ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ نَبَهٌ ... فِي مَلْعَبٍ مِنْ عَذَارَى الْحَيِّ مَفْصُومُ
