وقد يكون مرّةً ذا فرعنه

وقد تفرعن علينا فلان، وما هو إلا فرعون من الفراعنة. وتقول: أعوذ بالله من تيه الفراعنه، ومن سفه الفراعنة. وقيل: الفرعون: التمساح بلغة القبط. ومن المجاز: تفرعن النبات إذا طال وقوي.
