(فَدَغَ) الْفَاءُ وَالدَّالُ وَالْغَيْنُ. زَعَمَ ابْنُ دُرَيْدٍ أَنَّ الْفَدْغَ: الشَّدْخُ. وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ: «إِذًا تَفْدَغَ قُرَيْشٌ رَأْسِي ".» وَهَذَا صَحِيحٌ.
