[غمن] غَمَنْتُ الجلد أغْمُنُهُ بالضم، أي غَمَمْتُهُ ليتفسَّخ عنه صوفه، فهو غَمينٌ وغَميلٌ. وكذلك التمر إذا فعلت به ذلك ليدرك.
