غرقل

Q. 1 غَرْقَلَتِ البَيْضَةُ The egg became rotten; (S, O;) the interior of the egg became corrupt: and thus غَرْقَلَ signifies said of the بِطِّيخ [i. e. melon, or water-melon]: (K:) or, said of the بطّيخ, it became hard.
