ويقال: غَرْدَقَت المرأَةُ سترها إِذا أَرسلته. والغَردقةُ: ضرب من الشجر.

أَبو عمرو: الغَرْدَقة إِلْباس الغُبار الناس؛ وأَنشد:

إِنا إِذا قَسْطَلُ يوم غَرْدَقا
