غبص: غَبِصَت عينُه غَبَصاً: كَثُرَ الرَّمَصُ فيها من إِدامَةِ البكاء.

وفي نوادر الأَعراب: أَخذْتُه مُغافَصةً ومُغابَصةً ومُرافصةً أَي

أَخذته مُعازّةً؛ قال الأَزهري: لم أَجد في غَبص غيرَ قولهم أَخذته مغابصة أَي

معازة.
