فِي حَدِيثِ الْأَعْشَى :
وقَذَفَتْنِي بَيْنَ عِيصٍ مُؤْتَشِبْ العِيص: أصُول الشَّجَر. والعِيص أَيْضًا: اسْم مَوضِع قُرْب الْمَدِينَةِ عَلَى سَاحِلِ البَحر، لَهُ ذِكْرٌ فِي حَدِيثِ أَبِي بَصِير.
