a. Disliked, loathed.
b.(n. ac. عِيَاْفَة), Augured, drew omens from (birds).
c.(n. ac. عَيْف) ['Ala], Hovered, circled over (bird).

إِعْتَيَفَa. see I (a)b. Took provisions for a journey.
عَيْفَةa. Flight ( of a bird ).
عَاْيِفa. Disliking; loath, averse, disinclined.
b. Augur, diviner, soothsayer.
