ألف فيه محمود بن حمزة الكرماني كتابا في مجلدين سماه العجائب والغرائب لكن يجب أن تكون الغرائب المستنبطة من القرآن واردة على القواعد العربية والمدلولات اللفظية وإلا فلا عبرة لها كما فعله بعض السفهاء ممن يدعي المعرفة وقد أورد السيوطي بعضا منها في الإتقان.
