قال في مدينة العلوم: الزهد: الإعراض عن الدنيا. والورع: ترك الحلال خوفا من الوقوع في الشبهات.
وقيل الزهد: ترك الشبهات خوفا من الحرام وكتب الشيخ الإمام العلامة الغزالي - رحمه الله - تعالى نافعة في هذا العلم.
