عكلد: لبنٌ عُكَلِدٌ كَعُكَلِطٍ: خاثر. والعُكَلِدُ والعُلَكِدُ كله:

الغليظُ الشديد العنق والظهر من الإِبل وغيرها، وقيل: هو الشديد عامَّةً،

الذكر فيه والأُنثى سواء، والاسم العَكْلَدَة.
