عبثر: العَبَوْثَران: نباتٌ مثل القَيْصُوم في الغُبْرة، ذَفِرُ الريح، الواحدة عَبَوْثَرانة، فإذا يَبِسَتْ ثَمرَتُها عادت صفراءَ كَدِرة. وفيه أربع لغات بالياء والواو وضمّ الثّاء وفتحها.
