ظَهر غِني في قوله عليه السلام: "لا صدقة إلاَّ عن ظهر غنى": أي ما كان عفواً قد فضل عن غنى، ظهرُ القلب في قولهم: قرأ على ظهر قلبه أي حفظاً بلا كتاب.
