ظبو: الظُّبَةُ: حَدُّ السَّيْفِ وحَرْفُه، والجَمِيْعُ الظُّبَاةُ والظُّبى والظُّبِيْنُ، وهو من ظَبَوْتُ في قَوْلٍ؛ وفي قَوْلٍ: الظُّبُوْنَ.
بظى: يقولونَ: خَظَا بَظَا؛ صِلَةٌ له. وخَظِيَتْ وبَظِيَتْ. ولَحْمُه خَظٍ بَظٍ. وأخْظَاه اللهُ وأبْظَاه: أي أضْخَمَه وأعْظَمَه. والخَظِيُّ: الذي قد تَعَضَّلَ لَحْمُه، وكذلك البَظِيُّ.
وعَظَاه اللهُ وبَظَاه: أي صَرَفَه عن الخَيْرِ.
