طخمرث
: (طَخْمُورَثُ) أَهمله الجوهريّ، وأَخلاه عَن الضّبط لاشْتِهارِه، وَهُوَ بِفَتْح فسكونٍ وضمّ الْمِيم وَفتح الراءِ، وَضَبطه شيخُنا عَن بعضٍ بضَمّ الأَول والخامِسِ، والأَوّلُ أَصْوَبُ. قَالَ اللّيث: هُوَ اسْم (مَلِك من عُظَمَاءِ الفُرْسِ) نَسَبُه يَتّصِل إِلى سيّدنا نُوحٍ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام يُقَال: إِنّه (مَلَكَ) الفُرْسَ وساسَها (سَبْعَمِائَةِ سَنَةٍ) ، وَله بناءٌ بأَصْبَهَان، وإِنما ذكرَه لَغرابته وشُهْرَةِ هَذَا الِاسْم فِي الدّواوين.
