ضَبِسَتْ نَفْسُه، كفرحَ: لَقِسَتْ، وخَبُثَتْ.
والضَّبِسُ، ككتِفٍ: الشَّكِسُ العَسِر،
كالضَّبيسِ، والداهيةُ، والخَبُّ.
وهو ضِبْسُ شَرٍّ، بالكسر،
وضَبِيسُه: صاحِبُه.
والضَّبيسُ: الثقيلُ البَدَنِ والرُّوحِ، والجَبانُ، والأحْمَقُ الضعيفُ البَدَنِ.
والضَّبْسُ: الإِلْحاحُ على الغَريمِ.
