(ضَنُكَ)
(هـ) فِي كِتَابِهِ لِوَائِلِ بن حُجْر «في التِّيعَة شاةٌ لا مُقْوَرَّةُ الألْياطِ، وَلَا ضِنَاكٌ» الضِّنَاك بِالْكَسْرِ: المكْتَنِزُ اللَّحْمِ. وَيُقَالُ للذَّكر والأْنَثى بِغَيْرِ هاءٍ.
وَفِيهِ «أَنَّهُ عَطَسَ عِنْدَهُ رجُل فَشَمَّتهُ رجلٌ، ثُمَّ عَطَسَ فشمّته، ثم عطس فأراد أنه يُشَمّته فَقَالَ: دَعْه فَإِنَّهُ مَضْنُوك» أَيْ مَزْكُوم. والضُّنَاك بِالضَّمِّ: الزُّكاَم. يُقَالُ أَضْنَكَهُ اللهُ وأزكَمَه.
والقِياس أَنْ يُقال: فَهُوَ مُضْنَك ومُزْكَم، وَلَكِنَّهُ جَاءَ عَلَى أُضْنِكَ وأُزْكِمَ.
(س) وَمِنْهُ الْحَدِيثُ «امْتَخِطْ فإنَّك مَضْنُوك» وَقَدْ تَكَرَّرَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ.

ويوم بالمجازة والكلندى، ... ويوم بين ضنك وصومحان

(ضَنَكَ) الضَّادُ وَالنُّونُ وَالْكَافُ أَصْلَانِ صَحِيحَانِ وَإِنْ قَلَّ فُرُوعُهُمَا، فَالْأَوَّلُ الضِّيقُ، وَالْآخَرُ مَرَضٌ. فَالْأَوَّلُ الضَّنْكُ: الضِّيقُ. وَمِنَ الْبَابِ امْرَأَةٌ ضِنَاكٌ: مُكْتَنِزَةُ اللَّحْمِ، إِذَا اكْتَنَزَ تَضَاغَطَ.

وَالْأَصْلُ الْآخَرُ الْمَضْنُوكُ: الْمَزْكُومُ. وَالضِّنَاكُ الزُّكَامُ. وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ.
