[ضغب] الضُغاب والضَغيب: صوت الأرنب. وقد ضَغَبَت تَضْغَبُ. وامرأة ضَغْبَة، أي مولعة بحب الضغانيس، وهى صغار القثاء، أسقطت السين منه لانها آخر حروف الاسم، كما قيل في تصغير فرزدق فريزد.
