ضجم: الضَّجَمُ: عوجٌ في الأنف يميل إلى أحد شقيه. والضَّجَمُ في خطم الظَّليم، وربما كان مع الأنف أيضاً في الفم، وفي العنق ميل يسمى ضجماً فهو أضجَمُ والأنثى ضَجماءُ.

(ضَجَمَ) الضَّادُ وَالْجِيمُ وَالْمِيمُ أَصْلٌ صَحِيحٌ يَدُلُّ عَلَى عِوَجٍ فِي الشَّيْءِ. فَالضَّجَمُ: الْعِوَجُ. يُقَالُ: تَضَاجَمَ الْأَمْرُ بِالْقَوْمِ، إِذَا اخْتَلَفَ. وَالضَّجَمُ: اعْوِجَاجٌ فِي الْأَنْفِ وَأَنْ يَمِيلَ إِلَى أَحَدِ جَانِبَيِ الْوَجْهِ. وَضُبَيْعَةُ أَضْجَمَ: قَوْمٌ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ، كَأَنَّ أَبَاهُمْ أَضْجَمَ. وَيُقَالُ: الضَّجَمُ أَيْضًا اعْوِجَاجُ الْمَنْكِبَيْنِ.
