[ضبث] ضبثت بالشئ ضبثا، واضطبثت به، إذا قبضت عليه بكفِّك. وناقة ضَبوثٌ: يُشَكُّ في سِمَنِها فتُضْبَثُ: أي تُجَسُّ باليد. ومَضابِثُ الأسد: مخالبه. وفي الحديث : " الخطايا بين أضباثهم "، أي في قبضاتهم.
