صَلْفَعْتُ رَأْسَه وَصلْمَعْتُه أي ضَرَبْتَه فأطَحْتَه. وكذلك إذا حَلَقَه. والصَّلْفَعَةُ ذَهابُ المال. ورَجُلٌ مُصَلْفِعٌ مُدَفَّعٌ مُفْلِسٌ.
