فِيهِ «مَا مِن عبدٍ إلاَّ وَلَهُ صِيتٌ فِي السَّمَاءِ» أَيْ ذِكْر وشُهرةٌ وعِرْفان. وَيَكُونُ فِي الْخَيْرِ والشَّر.
(س) وَفِيهِ «كَانَ العبَّاس رَجُلًا صَيِّتاً» أَيْ شَدِيدَ الصَّوْتِ عَالِيَهُ. يُقَالُ هُوَ صَيِّتٌ وصَائِتٌ كميِّت ومائِت. وأصلُه الْوَاوُ، وبناؤُه فيعِل، فقُلب وأُدْغِم.
