صَلِفَ(n. ac. صَلَف)
a. Boasted, was vainglorious; thundered without giving
any rain (clouds).
b. Was innutritious (food).
c. Had no favour with.

أَصْلَفَa. Was of little worth (person).
b. Breathed heavily, wheezed.
c. Abhorred, detested.
d. Rendered odious.
e. Divorced.

تَصَلَّفَa. see I (a) (b) & IV (a).
صَلَفa. Boasting, brag.
b. Thunder unaccompanied by rain.
