[صلغ] الصُلوغُ في ذوات الأظلاف مثل السُلوغِ. تقول: صَلَغَتِ البقرةُ والشاةُ، فهي صالِغٌ، وكباشٌ صُلَّغٌ. قال رؤبة:
والحربُ شهباءُ الكِباشِ الصلغ
والحربُ شهباءُ الكِباشِ الصلغ
