صُعَقُ:
بوزن زفر، وآخره قاف، لعلّه معدول عن صاعق وهو المغشي عليه: ماء بجنب المردمة من جنبها الأيمن وهي عشرون فما أي منبعا، وهي لبني سعيد بن قرط من بني أبي بكر بن كلاب، قال نصر: صعق ماء لبني سلمة بن قشير.

(صَعَقَ) الصَّادُ وَالْعَيْنُ وَالْقَافُ أَصْلٌ وَاحِدٌ يَدُلُّ عَلَى صَلْقَةٍ وَشِدَّةِ صَوْتٍ. مِنْ ذَلِكَ الصَّعْقُ، وَهُوَ الصَّوْتُ الشَّدِيدُ. يُقَالُ: حِمَارٌ صَعِقُ الصَّوْتِ، إِذَا كَانَ شَدِيدَهُ. وَمِنْهُ الصَّاعِقَةُ، وَهِيَ الْوَقْعُ الشَّدِيدُ مِنَ الرَّعْدِ. وَيُقَالُ إِنَّ الصُّعَاقَ الصَّوْتُ الشَّدِيدُ. وَمِنْهُ قَوْلُهُمْ: صَعِقَ، إِذَا مَاتَ، كَأَنَّهُ أَصَابَتْهُ صَاعِقَةٌ. قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: {وَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ فَصَعِقَ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا مَنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ} [الزمر: 68] .
