(صَدَحَ) الصَّادُ وَالدَّالُ وَالْحَاءُ أُصَيْلٌ يَدُلُّ عَلَى صَوْتٍ. يُقَالُ: صَدَحَ الدِّيكُ وَالْغُرَابُ. وَكَانَ اللِّحْيَانِيُّ يَقُولُ: إِنَّهُ لَصَيْدَحٌ، أَيْ مُرْتَفِعُ الصَّوْتِ. وَيَقُولُونَ - وَلَيْسَ هُوَ مِنْ هَذَا الْقِيَاسِ -: إِنَّ الصُّدْحَةَ خَرَزَةٌ يُؤَخَّذُ بِهَا. وَيُقَالُ: الصَّدَحُ: الْإِكَامُ. وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ.
