ناحية بسجستان لها ذكر في الفتوح، افتتحها المسلمون على يد الربيع بن زياد الحارثي سنة ثلاثين في أيام عثمان بن عفّان، رضي الله عنه، فأصاب شيئا كثيرا، كان منهم أبو صالح عبد الرحمن جدّ بسّام.
