شنغ: شُنُوغَة: كنيس، معبد اليهود، وجمعه شَنائِغ (فوك، ألكالا). وقد اخبر السيد سيمونه إنه وجد هذه الكلمة في الترجمة الآرامية للتوارة وهي مخطوطة (انظر شنورة).
