شَمِتَ(n. ac. شَمَاْت
شَمَاْتَة)
a. [Bi], Rejoiced at, gloated over the misfortunes of.

شَمَّتَa. Uttered a prayer for, said "Praise be to God" to (
one sneezing ).
b. Disappointed, frustrated the hopes of.

أَشْمَتَ
a. [acc. & Bi], Avenged of ( his enemies ).

تَشَمَّتَa. Was disappointed, frustrated.

شَاْمِتَة
(pl.
شَوَاْمِتُ)
a. Foot, paw.

شَمَاْتَةa. Joy caused by another's misfortunes.
