(الشَّقَم مُحَرَّكة بالقَافِ) أَهْمَلَه الجَوْهَرِيّ. وَقَالَ أَبُو حَنِيفة: (جنْسٌ من التَّمْر) ، وَقَالَ غَيْرُه: ضَرْب من النَّخْل، (أَو هُوَ) من النَّخْلِ: (البُرْشُوم) نَقَله ابنُ بَرّيّ عَن ابنِ خَالَوَيْه، (الواحِدَةُ بِهاءٍ) .
