شَفِرَ(n. ac. شَفَاْرَة)
a. Decreased, diminished, dwindled away (
fortune ).
شَفَّرَa. see Ib. Was low, near to setting (sun).
c. ['Ala], Was on the brink, verge of.
d. Eradicated.

أَشْفَرَa. Strove ( in running ).
