شعنب
: (الشَّعْنَبَةُ) : أَهْمَلَه الجَوْهَرِيّ. وَقَالَ النَّضْر بْن شُمَيْل: هُوَ (أَن يَسْتَقِيمَ قَرْنُ الكَبْشِ ثمَّ يَلْتَوِيَ على رَأْسِه قِبَل) بكَسْرٍ فَفَتْح (أُذُنِه) . قَالَ: (و) يُقَالُ: (إِنَّهُ) أَي التَّيْس (لمُشَعْنَبُ القَرْنِ) أَي لَمُلْتَوِيه حَتَّى يَصِيرَ كَأَنَّه حَلْقَة، وَمثله: إِنه مُعَنكَبُ القَرْن، قَالَه الأَزْهَرِي. والمُشَعنِب أَيْضاً: المُسْتَقِيمُ. (و) قَالَ النَّضْرُ فِي مُشَعنِبِ القَرْن: بالعَيْنِ والغَيْن. (تُكْسَرُ نُونُه) وتُفْتَح.
