ش ط ء : شَاطِئُ الْوَادِي جَانِبُهُ وَشَطْءُ النَّبَاتِ مَا خَرَجَ مِنْ الْأَصْلِ وقَوْله تَعَالَى {أَخْرَجَ شَطْأَهُ} [الفتح: 29] الْمُرَادُ السُّنْبُلُ وَهُوَ فِرَاخُ الزَّرْعِ عَنْ ابْنِ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ وَأَشْطَأَ الزَّرْعُ بِالْأَلِفِ إذَا أَفْرَخَ.

شَطَأَ(n. ac. شَطْء [ ]شُطُوْء [] )
a. Walked along the bank, the edge of; skirted.
b. [Bi], Was able to carry (load).
c. Shot forth, sprouted.

شَطَّأَa. Branched off.

شَاْطَأَa. Walked along the opposite bank to.
