الشرطية: ما تتركب من قضيتين، وقيل: الشرطية، هو الذي يتوقف عليه الشيء ولم يدخل في ماهية الشيء ولم يؤثر فيه، ويسمى الموقوف بالمشروط، والموقوف عليه بالشرط، كالوضوء للصلاة، فإن الوضوء شرط موقوف عليه للصلاة، وليس بداخل فيها ولا يؤثر فيها.
